Whats age got to do with it?

Funny thing happened I was getting on a shuttle that was to take me and some colleagues to a meeting. The shuttle was completely full and people were steadily and actively trying to get on. The bus driver politely starting asking patrons to get off and board the next one. An elderly man shouted out “I am 78 years old” , what this had to do with anything I don’t know. I love and respect my elders nut enough is enough. That bus was full now get on another one you old gezer I see this happening a lot it used to be with race now its with age. Next time someone says something to my I will say “I am 26 years old”.

Spawns of the Devil

While in Tampa we went to Busch Gardens Theme Park. Anyone who knows me gets the fact that I an amusement park freak. We were having a god time once we got there until we boarded our first ride. Originally it was just to be me and my little sister but seeing that I am the hip cousin everyone wanted to hang with me, but who wouldn’t. We all wanted to ride the coaster together so I asked everyone to wait until we were near the front of the line before we started letting people skip in line. We as usual teenagers never listen and they decided to do whatever they wanted to do. Ok now as my and my sister are bonding and I hear a little commotion to my surprise it was my people. They were cussing screaming and carrying on, I was totally embarrassed. I must have jumped over rails to tell them to tone it down. I love them dearly but damn this was unacceptable, do I blame the parents do I blame them. I blame everyone!!!!!!
I hope and ray to God my little sister surpasses that stage in her life because I don’t think she will make it through alive……….

Just catching you up

Whew what a holiday weekend got a lot of catching up to do. My thanksgiving break started with dinner at a friends house then a night of partying. This particular night I felt like I was B from 2002 when I was legal to drink in the club. I got lasered and did not fall asleep until 6am Friday morning. So decided to take my travels to sunny Tampa, Florida to visit my family as they vacationed there. As always it is wonderful to hang with my yongest sister, she is eleven. My mom was there and although it is weird, seeing as though we did not have the best relationship growing up, I believe she is trying a little bit to be more involved. My one night in Tampa reminded me so much of growing up. Seeing the interaction between my mom and my sister is leading me to believe that they will have the same relationship as the rest of us do, somewhat disconnected. Kind of sad but we all turned out prominent and successful so maybe this was my mom’s master plan all along. One thing that is different about they way I treat my sister is the fact I express love and gratitude. When I was growing up love was not expressed it was implied. I am convinced that this is the reason why it has taken me 26 years to now realize that I can love and be loved along with expressing my feelings and conveying them thoroughly. I want my sister to be able to understand genuine love and be able to practice it without being binded by the unknown.
